Pondicherry Ophthalmologists' Association was
initially called as Pondicherry State Ophthalmological Society,
founded on 28/02/1982. Prof P.A. Lamba

Association works for the benefit of the Ophthalmic Community and is
affiliated to the Tamilnadu Ophthalmologist Association
(TNOA).
Pondicherry Ophthalmologists' Association organizes CME
Programmes for the Pondy Ophthalmologists. In 2006 life membership
was introduced and the benefits of life members are mentioned in the
application form.
