The Annual conference of the Tamil Nadu Ophthalmic Association was a formal periodic meeting of all eye care professionals.

Venue : JIPMER traces its origin to 1823 when a medical school called "Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry" was established by French Government. The college was upgraded as a Regional Centre & named a Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER).
